Halliday Wine Companion

This has hit a mellow gait. Supple texture, lots of blueberry and mulberry fruit with a wrap of licorice, aniseed, toasty spices, dark chocolate powder, sea spray and bay leaf. A good and distinct regional cabernet character gets the tick of approval, too. Tannins are lively, fine, omnipresent and refreshing. The carriage of flavour is long and strung tightly through the palate. This feels serious, and seriously good.
