Tasting Notes

Powerful and lifted red and blue fruit spectrums, with warm leathery lift. Tabacco and hummus hints add onto the complexity.

The chalky tannins deliciously grab the attention by framing the rich Syrah palate and carry through to a sweet and savoury finish with violet, liquorice and blackberries.

Still in its youth, the structure beautiful teasing the palate to let us look forward what it will become if we don't drink it all now.

Halliday Wine Companion

A trim and neat, medium-weight red wine with a core of cool, blood orange acidity guiding the plusher fringes of dark cherry, cola, bergamot tea and sweeter clove-cinnamon, brown spice characters. Around this, a web of sandy tannin drawing the wine long and through to a fresh, moreish finish. It feels compact, elegant and yet shows some regional muscle and appealing maturity in the gentle, savoury lilt in its midst. Nice one.
